Welcome back, and what a week to be back. Overall, the export market was just below where we left off but the trade market saw great lifts particularly with Heifers, closing the gap with steers.
Bulls were slightly lower with the +600kg making 280.0 down 10cents
Cows were similar with the tops making 307.20 which is down 7 cents from last sale. They averaged 280.71
Steers
280-330kg were strong 8-15cents dearer to average 401.00c/kg and topped at 456.20c/kg
330-400kg topped at 418c to average 385.66c/kg with similar gains of 1-15 cents.
Butcher calves made 392.2c/kg up 12c from last week.
Heifers
280-330kg Topped at 386.20 c/kg to average 346.16 c/kg which has increases of 28cents and 30 cents respectively.
330-400kg again were very strong 386.20 c/kg and averaged 355.41 c/kg again up around 30 cents
