Numbers remained stable this week yarding 983 head which was an overall high quality yarding.

Cows abundant and in good condition, While the market seem to soften by 5-10c the average price for cows lifted by $152/hd. The tops only made 300c/kg down by 7 and were similar with the tops making 307.20 which is down 7 cents. plainer cows 180c–286c/kg.

Steers

280-330kg made up to 436.20c/kg to average 377.07c/kg which is a big drop from the highs of last week.

Heavier types 330kg+ ranged from 350c–426c/kg, mostly holding firm.

Heavy weights 400kg+: 354c–428c/kg

Heifers

Restocker weaners were back more so than the steers dropping 25-50c/kg

280-330kg topped at 372.2 to average 307.88

heavier heifers topped at 368.20 to average approx 330c/kg

Again strong demand on Butcher calves making upwards of 380c/kg to 420c/kg
