Another week of solid numbers here in Singleton and across the state. The effects of this increase in supply starting to show in our market.
Bulls were on par with last week topping at 274.2c/kg for +600kg which is a drop of 2c from last week.
Cows were affected this week with an abundance of supply through the state. They peaked at 272.2 for the primes which is down 28 cents. a very similar story for the lighter conditioned cow 146c to 245c/kg which is down 20-25cents.
Steers
200-280kg made up the greatest portion of the steer yarding, topping at 428.20c/kg to average 357.33c/kg this is very similar to last week.
Heavier types 330kg-400 took more of a hit down 24-34 cents topping at 402.20c/kg to average 347.76c/kg.
Heavy prime steers above 600kg+ traded to 330.20 to average 321.81cents
Heifers
Restocker weaners traded between 200c/kg and 322c/kg which is a decline from last week with the yearlings trading 266c to 300c/kg

National Feeder Index: 378.9c/kg, down 15.2cents
